Los Angeles is banning plastic bags…which is odd, seeing how half the female population of the city has bought a pair.
New Podcast Is Up: “Adam, Eve & Steve”
The topic of gay marriage made its way into the news again recently – conveniently during another election year – therefore I enlist the help of frequent guest-host, Patrick, as we discuss the subject within the context of equality, civil rights, religion and politics.
Received an advanced / review copy today from the publisher, looking forward to reading it…any other Joss fans out there, besides me? (Taken with instagram)
Ever want to start your own podcast?
In this week’s episode, I share my over 7 years of experience (tips, tricks & mistakes to avoid) and cover everything you’ll need to know about starting your own podcast; including picking your subject matter, mics & gear, building your audience and more.
I’m also joined by Patrick, who recently started his own podcast, therefore you have the benefit of hearing perspectives from both a long-time podcaster, as well as someone who is just getting started.

On This Week’s Podcast: My experience playing, “Star Wars: The Old Republic” (SWTOR) and Ann Romney’s hardship of having to raise 5 children with only a mere $250 million in the bank, nannies and personal assistants.
As if the title weren’t self-explanatory enough. ;) Discussion of the Trayvon Martin shooting and the latest gaffe from the Romney campaign, which may define and plague his candidacy heading into the general election.
This week I am joined by Patrick - fresh off his trip to SxSW - as we discuss many of the newest innovations in music, film, interactive design & gaming.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, and I must be planning to buy the new iPad.
Conservative shock joke…excuse me, jock, Rush Limbaugh, recently created a fervor over his attack of Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke for her position on insurance coverage for birth control.
My take on the Rush Limbaugh / Sandra Fluke comments and controversy, including whether or not it is a First Amendment issue.
Check out my review of, “Tales From Development Hell: The Greatest Movies Never Made?”
Learn about how some of your favorite movies were almost never made…while others never escaped the trap of Development Hell to make their way to the big screen.
Got the podcast up a little early this week, as Vanessa G joins me to discuss our experience at MegaCon…the costume play, panels and our favorite comic books that we are reading.
This week’s show is ‘100% Geek Approved & Certified’ ;)
I have attended many conventions in my life, but never a comic book convention. The following is my account - at MegaCon - as a comic book convention virgin…so, please be gentle, it’s my first time.
The GOP primaries begin to heat-up as Rick Santorum sweeps in a surprising 3-State victory and talk of a possible brokered convention (although still unlikely) takes on a more serious tone. Nothing says “lack of vision and focus” like having a different candidate win each primary. ;)
